Kathleen was such a loving, present being. In our breif encounters the last years, she presented such outward strength, and generosity of spirit. It took me by surprise when I heard the news. I was so poitive she would beat this.

How moving, and heartbreaking to hear Oliver's words. I am so fortunate to have known Kathleen, however fleeting. Jane met Kathleen when pregnant and had such vital and wonderful years together raising children.

My own father waited many difficult hours for me to arrive in the hospital, as I had to travel a long distance. Upon my arrival I held him, and told him he was deeply loved, and that it was ok to just let go. Within 10 minutes he had passed away in my arms. I often think back to this moment, & how we need to give each other approval and encouragement to go into un-charted territory. How fortunate Kathleen had such support upon her passing.
